Janice Wong has collaborated with Two Men Bagel House to offer a cosy campfire experience within the plush comfort of the 2am:dessertbar.
The Christmas Campfire Collection invites guests to experience a sweet and smoky Christmas with a range of sweets, cakes and bagel sandwiches. And you can toast marshmallows with a ‘campfire’, right at your table, too.
The Two Men Bagel Special, featuring Smoked Pork Collar with Mop Sauce, Cheese and Marmalade is a satisfying mix of sweet and savoury. Cheese Fondue and Chips, and the Lavender and Mint Marshmallow Smore’s add on to the holiday cheer.
You’ll find Janice Wong’s signature desserts on the menu, such as the Diamond Chocolate Bon Bons in assorted flavours of apple pie, pistachio and mulled wine. Then there are confections from her Larger than Life Christmas Collection – the Christmas Hat Cake with raspberry pistachio and lime, and the Christmas Tree, a banana cake filled with nougat mousse and pecan.
The Christmas Campfire Collection starts on Dec 12 and runs every weekend till Dec 27, 2020 at 2am:dessertbar. Limited sets are available each day. Reservations can be made online.
The next time you’re at Jurong Bird Park, be sure to pop by the second outlet of The Social Kitchen. Founded by Singaporeans Alvin Yapp & Ang Kian Peng, the social enterprise seeks to provide food and employment to disadvantaged individuals.
It’s also partnered with The Vegetarian Butcher to offer sustainable plant-based meals at the plant-based meat concept restaurant, using the Holland brand’s vegan products such as its Vegan NoChicken Chunks, Vegetarian NoMeatballs, NoChicken Nuggets, and Vegetarian NoBeef Patty.

Japanese restaurant Sun With Moon has a new Winter menu that’s available for a limited time only from Dec 4, 2020 to February next year.
Savour a host of new Winter specials such as the delightfully fatty yellowtail sashimi, whether in the Torotaku Goma Buri Roll Sushi ($19.80), deep-fried in a piquant Buri Katsu Shibazuke Tartar Sauce ($15.80), or in the refreshing Salmon Harasu and Tarabagani Chirashi ($28.80). There’s also the light Aburi Konsai Salad ($12.80) featuring tasty and nutritious root veggies, as well as comforting hot pots and more.
You can also look forward to desserts like homemade warabi mochi ($7.80), and drinks like Winter Snow ($6.50), an all-white tropical concoction of coconut, yoghurt, vanilla ice cream and coconut jelly.

Get your chocolatey fix with Milksha’s Christmas Cocoa Ice Blended Series.
The popular Taiwanese bubble tea chain has rolled out the new Cocoa Ice Blended $4.80) and Cocoa Ice Blended with Sesame Pudding ($5.20) — both are blended with 100 per cent Valrhona cocoa powder and fresh milk (a Milksha signature), then sprinkled with cocoa nibs. The latter is crafted with limited-edition house-made sesame pudding that’s made fresh daily in stores, giving the luscious drink an extra nutty spin.
