Take it up a notch and add water to the fun! Indoor water playgrounds are popping up in Singapore, so your kids can enjoy a splashing good time without being out in the sun for too long.

The latest indoor waterpark promises kids of all ages (but in particular 12 years old and above) a thrilling time with the longest water slide ever built in Singapore: a 114m twisty, turning tube slide.

Other water activities include the Ninja Warrior-style rope course as well as the Laze Pool with its floating platforms that will give you a chance to rest after all the adrenaline.

Theatre is a great way to introduce your kids to the wonders of performing arts and creative expression.

When Sadness Comes To Call is a non-verbal theatrical performance that illustrates the emotion of sadness, and how to come to terms with it in creative ways. This is a gentle, relaxing performance, recommended for ages 4-8 and suitable for the hearing impaired and those on the autistic spectrum.

If your kid is still bouncing with energy, bring them to the Sky Garden, with bouncy castles and games. Take-home activity sheets are available to spark further conversation with your kids after the performance.

Spanning across the Terminal 3 Departure Immigration Hall are life-sized games and installations. Compete with speed at the Hungry Hungry Hippos, with a tint of Bishi-Bashi elements. Try the driving simulator at Game of Life, or scratch your brains to figure out the mystery case at Guess Who?. This is Game On! at Changi's last weekend, so hurry down to play!

Purchase your gamer pass on the Changi app for $5 each. You can also spend a minimum of $50 (S$80 for supermarkets) in a single receipt in Changi Airport Public Areas Terminal 1 to 4 to redeem a free gamer pass!

As Singapore's first and largest multi-installation indoor adventure centre, Adventure HQ promises to be a fun place to spend your afternoon — although that depends on how brave you and your kids are. Heights, slides, rope courses, caves — you name it, they have it. Height and weight requirements apply.

NERF Action Xperience

Challenge, compete and conquer at NERF Action Xperience! Blast at your opponents with the latest NERF guns. Stand your ground in Zombie City, and play the NERF version of Capture the Flag in Camp Dune. There are also stations to get creative, such as customising your own tote bag with NERF Super Soaker blasters filled with fabric paint. Take a break from the guns at their obstacle courses, which are definitely more fun as a team challenge.
