It's officially the June holidays! And while kids are rejoicing at a month of no school, parents everywhere are probably stressing out with how to keep the energetic little ones busy and well-entertained for the next three weeks. If you haven't already looked at signing them up for camps or activities, check out this list here of all that's available this month.

For this week, family-friendly events at Rochester Mall plus exciting Marvel encounters to enjoy at Jewel Changi Airport. Nature enthusiasts can also dive into the deep blue without getting wet at a special exhibition at Marina Square.

Discover a Wow Wild World at Marina Square

Marina Square honours World Environment Day and World Ocean Day with an educational oceanic event, featuring intricate, eco-friendly 3D sculptures of endangered marine animals. The display, created in partnership with Singapore Polytechnic, includes an 8-meter long whale sculpture and various life-sized marine animals. Take the little ones to the Central Atrium to create ocean-themed crafts, with visuals provided for creative expression. Upon completing a colouring sheet, they'll earn an eco-themed badge.

Video Lab for Kids: Superhero You with Shaw

As part of Apple's Grow with Creativity series, join dance artist Shaw (Chew Shaw En) and Amos, a young 10-year old artist with Down's Syndrome who often uses dance and movement to communicate, as they turn themselves into superheroes using the power of animation. Kids can watch and learn as the duo capture their movements with iPad, then use the FlipaClip app and Apple Pencil to draw their characters into action. Great for ages 6–15. The session is run by Superhero Me, a non-profit and inclusive arts movement that uses artistic experiences to build creative confidence and social awareness in kids.

Experience the life of a hotelier with Village Hotel Sentosa

The little ones can have their first attempt at an apprenticeship this June holiday by exploring various hotel professions at Village Hotel Sentosa, including roles like Mini Concierge, Mini Responder, and Mini Chef, where they can cook dishes like pizza or pasta.

The Mini Artist and Engineer programs foster creativity and practical skills, while the Mini Housekeeper teaches life skills like bed-making and shirt-folding. 

The hotel also offers a Mini Hotelier Graduation program, rewarding stamps for each completed experience. Kids completing seven experiences within a year across multiple stays receive a graduation gift pack and become certified Mini Hoteliers.

Meet the Avengers at Jewel Changi Airport

Jewel Changi Airport's iconic HSBC Rain Vortex is now featuring a 2-minute Marvel Avengers-inspired Light & Sound show with iconic Avengers like Antman and The Wasp, projected onto the world’s tallest indoor waterfall. Stroll around to discover interactive Avengers-themed photo spots and impressive 3D installations.

The exhibition showcases the rich history and significant events of The Avengers, from their comic book origins to their cinematic evolution. Marvel enthusiasts can dive deep into the backstory of The Avengers and pick up interesting trivia about the Marvel Universe.

Scream for I-Scream at Singapore Discovery Centre

The Singapore Discovery Centre (SDC) is welcoming families to an exciting I-SCREAM SDC event this June. This holiday treat will offer a variety of activities and delicious surprises for all ages.

The event's main attraction is The Great SingaPaw Ice Cream Show, an entertaining puppet show that's sure to mesmerize both kids and adults. Attendees will witness SingaPaw's creation of his signature ice-cream. Tickets for the show are priced at $15, or $12 for members, and include a free artisanal ice cream from Tom's Palette, a local gelato maker.

In addition, the event features the "Old School is Cool" exhibit, offering a nostalgic tour of Singapore's history of ice cream and other cold desserts. Guests completing the exhibit's trial can claim a free ice cream every Sunday from 12 pm to 5 pm, as long as supplies last.

Test the skills of young adventurers with Battle of the Kiddos at Rochester Mall

This June, Rochester Mall invites families to an exciting and unforgettable event, "Battle of the Kiddos". Suitable for kids of all ages, the one-day event features an adventure-filled lineup of activities like laser tag, survival games, and performances.

Young adventurers can challenge themselves at various game stations, like the Army Maze Game, Toss the Bomb, and Enemy Knockdown. Additionally, craft workshops will take place every hour, allowing kids to channel their creativity and create beautiful crafts to take home as keepsakes.

Bounce the June Holidays away with inflatables at Gastrobeats 2023

Gastrobeat is back in 2023 at the Bayfront Event Space, accompanying i Light Singapore 2023. This family-friendly, admission-free festival offers a month of entertainment, featuring live music performances from local talents, and an assortment of food choices.

A highlight of the event is Jumptopia, a bouncy castle brought to the festival by Kiztopia. This inflatable fun zone is divided into two areas: Galaxy Adventure Zone for toddlers and Jumptopia™ WILD for young teens.

These vast, space-themed inflatables provide an exciting playground where kids can bounce, slide, and climb under the starry night sky.

Save the dragons at Ninjago Academy

Gear up for an exciting adventure at the LEGO NINJAGO Academy, taking place at the Compass One atrium Young heroes are invited to train with Master Lloyd and new characters Arin, Sora, and Baby Dragon Riyu.

The academy offers a variety of challenges designed to test speed, agility, and endurance. Activities include a weapon building station, a Spinjitzu challenge, and elemental trials. As a reward for completing the missions, participants can claim a LEGO NINJAGO minifigure on-site, available while supplies last.

Also on display is a large LEGO NINJAGO Academy diorama with Dragon NRG Cores. Try your luck by guessing the number of Dragon NRG Cores in the display. Closest guesses will have the chance to win LEGO sets.
