Woke up late on a weekend morning and the kids are hungry? Try this quick and easy Crunchy Sugar Toast that’ll satiate them till the next meal. It’s so simple — 3 ingredients, a small heat, and takes all of five minutes.
- Butter or margarine
Butter toast and sprinkle a thin layer of sugar over it.
TIP: You can do this on both sides if you have a sweet tooth, or just one side if you prefer it to be less sweet.
Over small heat, slowly toast the bread and allow the sugar to caramalise.
Serve and eat while it’s still hot!
