Okay, we know that there's no official clutch club that members of the British royal family belong to. But as we've mentioned before, it is an unsaid rule that royals are expected to carry clutches when engaging in public appearances. And while she may have been known for selling out Strathberry's top-handle bag, Meghan's latest public appearance post-wedding sees her deferring to a simple black clutch.
Making an appearance with Queen Elizabeth, the Duchess of Sussex wore a caped Givenchy dress, and accessorised it with a leather shoulder bag from the same brand, which she carried as a clutch. (Side note: We wonder if Givenchy is slowly becoming the Duchess' brand of choice, having already worn Givenchy down the aisle for her much buzzed-about wedding).
