Valentine's Day is here. And if you don't have dinner plans, cosying up on the couch with a sexy movie or drama is equally romantic (and could spice things up in the bedroom... later on). Here, a curation of sexy shows to watch with your special other, whether you're into raunchy comedies that'll tickle your funny bone, or seriously steamy movies to get you both feeling hot and heavy. Just be sure to watch them after the kids have gone to bed!
1 Friends with Benefits (2011)
Exactly as the movie title suggests, the show is centred around two friends who decide to become friends with benefits. Jamie Rellis (Kunis) is a recruiter based in New York City. She recruits Dylan (Justin Timberlake), an art director from Los Angeles, to accept a position at GQ magazine's New York office. After hitting it off as friends, they find out they share many similarities — including being tired of failed romances. One thing leads to another, and one night, after agreeing that sex should not require emotional attachment, they have purely casual sex. But surprise, surprise. Along the way, they end up falling for each other.

2 Love Island
This dating game show originally debuted in the UK, starting with a group of single 'Islanders' embarking on a summer of dating, romance, and ultimately, relationships, while living together in villa that's isolated from the outside world. They have to "couple up" to avoid being dumped from the villa. Additionally, the public will vote for their favourite islanders to stay in the villa at points in the series. As old islanders are dumped, new islanders enter the villa. There's lots of drama, plus plenty of hot and heavy action.
The show has spawned different versions around the world, from the US to Australia and South Africa.

3 Single's Inferno
Consider Single's Inferno a tamer version of Love Island. Now with three seasons under its belt, the hit reality dating show centres around a group of young, single, and undeniably attractive South Koreans who are ready to mingle. Left stranded on an island to find that special one, it’s only when they hit it up with another singleton that can they then head to Paradise (basically a luxury hotel), so they can get to know one another better.
The participants’ raw and candid emotions for each other have been what’s drawing audiences, as they’re only able to focus only on their feelings in a restricted space without any knowledge of each others’ ages or jobs. Of course, expect some scintillating moments (yes, we're talking about those pool and hot tub scenes).

4 Sex Education
The series follows the journey of Otis Milburn, a socially awkward teenager at Moordale Secondary School. Despite his lack of experience, and drawing on his mother's expertise as a sex therapist, Otis becomes an unlikely guru for his peers, offering guidance on everything from performance anxiety to sexual identity. He also teams up with his rebellious classmate Maeve Wiley to run an underground sex therapy clinic at their school.

5 No Hard Feelings (2023)
This steamy M18-rated comedy stars Jennifer Lawrence as Maddie, who is hired by a wealthy couple to romance their introverted 19-year-old son Percy (Andrew Barth Feldman). But awkward Percy proves to be more of a challenge than she expected, and time is running out. She has one summer to make him a man or lose it all. Raunchy hilarity ensues.

6 50 Shades of Grey
A cliche but of course we had to include the 50 Shades of Grey franchise. Straight-laced student Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) meets enigmatic businessman Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) after filling in for a journalist friend to interview him. Sparks fly, which leads to an intense relationship that delves into emotional, and sexual exploration and Christian's kinky preferences (including a particularly memorable elevator scene). But Ana struggles with Christian's controlling nature and dark past. As their bond deepens, they confront personal demons and navigate the complexities of love and desire.
6 Sleeping With Other People (2015)
The American sex comedy follows Jake (Jason Sudeikis) and Lainey (Alison Brie), two serial cheaters who lost their virginity to each other in college. After years of failed relationships and infidelities, they reconnect at a support group for sex addicts. Despite their undeniable chemistry, they make a pact to keep their friendship platonic to avoid sabotaging their lives further. While navigating the complexities of modern romance and personal growth, the two struggle to resist the temptation to take their relationship to a more intimate level. With humour and heart (and lots of sexual tension), the film explores themes of love, friendship, and the challenges of commitment in the digital age.

7 Sex/Life
Sex/Life is a steamy Netflix romantic drama that follows Billie (Sarah Shahi) as Billie, a housewife who grows unhappy with her marriage as she begins longing for the carefree past she had living in New York with her best friend Sasha. She's got the whole package: a loving husband, Cooper, and two adorable kids. But deep down, she's itching for the wild days of her twenties.
Unsatisfied with her current sex life with her husband, she soon starts fantasizing about her ex Brad (Adam Demos), writing detailed journal entries about their past sex life. When she bumps into him again, old flames reignite, and she's torn between her settled life and the excitement of the past. Meanwhile, Cooper's starting to smell something fishy...

8 Emily In Paris
This isn't your average rom-com. Instead, the series focuses on the shenanigans of Chicago marketing executive Emily Cooper (Lily Collins), who unexpectedly scores a job her boss was supposed to take — at a Parisian firm acquired by her current company to revamp their social media presence. From there, she gets entangled with a hot neighbour (and subsequently a love triangle) and a series of rather steamy hookups.
